Absence

I will be absent for at least a week, might be able to do another post in the weekend,  or so i hope.

This is because after over four years of service, my laptop is broken. Luckily i do know a thing or two about computers, so i found out that only my hard disk isn't functioning properly. Replacing it will take a while, and i'm thinking about getting a SSD in there instead. So i might even be able to upgrade my station a bit.

Anyway, i hope to be back as soon as possible!

Hold your ground, summer is coming.

I hereby declare the festival season to be officially opened!
Saturday i had the kick-off at the Wijthmenerplas near Zwolle, the Netherlands.
The festival terrain was based around a small lake where i always went swimming as a kid, so how could i miss out on that? And if this is what the summer has in store, sign me up!

The festival was a new one called Hardshock, 5 stages with; hardcore, early hardcore, terror/frenchcore, industrial and raw hardstyle. It wasn't a really big and crowded festival, only 8.000 tickets were sold, but the crowd sure did want to party. Here's a little impression of what the mainstage looked like:

And the weather-gods really favoured us, the sun was shining almost the entire day, no rain at all. I hope next year the fest will be held a month or so later, so that we can make use of the lake as well.

So, what are your plans for the coming months? Got any neat festivals/vacations planned?
I sure do!

If all goes well, i will be visiting Sziget festival again this year. For those of you who haven't heard of it, and i don't think a lot of people outside of Europe have. Sziget has sometimes been jokingly called the European "Burning Man". This is i believe because of the awesome atmosphere at the festival, you meet people from all over the world, you can have a chat with everyone. It's 7 days just filled with partying and going crazy. And if you wake up very hung-over, wich is nearly always the case, you can just go chill out at the reggea stage and enjoy a tropical shisha.

But what is Sziget? Sziget is being held in Budapest Hungary. Budapest is divided into two parts, Buda and Pest, by the Donau river that flows through the city. And in this river there is an island, that entire island is the festival area, it's enormous. The name Sziget is quite a logical one, it's the Hungarian word for island. And don't bother trying to learn some Hungarian, it's impossible. I believe it's officially the hardest language to learn.

Last year around 400.000 people visited the festival, that's more than almost any city here in the Netherlands. I've met people from all around the globe, from the USA to Ghana. And even an Australian guy with the epic t-shirt print: "I came all the way here from Australia, the least you could do is buy me a fucking beer". I even met a lot of nice French people, wich i didn't believe existed. And it isn't strange there is such a big diversity of people, almost all the popular genres in music are being played.

Last year on the mainstage they had acts like: Prince, The Prodigy, Flogging Molly and many more. There were two rock/metal stages, with acts like Within Temptation, Sonata Arctica and Motorhead. A gigantic party arena was present for styles like house and trance, featuring artists like Kid Cudi and Zombie Nation.
Other stages included; regea, drum&bass, dubstep, folk, roma, country and many more, i can't even remember every stage, there were so many. And it's not just the music, the grounds are filled with lots of fun activities, from bungee jumping to playing tennis. We even participated in a huge game of living chess, And the food is just incredible, you name it, they have it.

One of the reasons why this festival has such an open and inviting atmosphere is the fact there are very little rules, ofcourse there are the obvious such as respecting eachother and eachothers property. But there are, for instance, no assigned campiung places. You just set up your tent wherever you want to. And that's where human nature kicks in, groups of tents will start to gather. They do have meeting points for different nations, so most French people will set up their tent along with the other Frenchies, this does seperate the camping grounds a bit, but you mix and match during the festival anyway.

And why stick to the festival ground? You are literaly in the middle of one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in al of Europe. Budapest is home to a lot of historic Roman public baths, and i can tell you, that's one of the best ways to relax in the morning. For the real sightseeing you can walk up to the old fortress of Buda, i can really recommend that, it was really a great experience. Taking a stroll to through the city and grab a bite to eat a very chique restaurent. A three course meal cost us just 15 euro's each, and it's as cheap throughout the city.

I could go on for hours about this awesome phenomenon, but i have other matters to tend to.
As a goodbye gift, i hope this will be most the awkward thing i'll see this year, found this when i went to the toilet saturday:

Da Vinci

First of all; Happy Easter to all of you!
Did you enjoy the holidays? I know i sure did.

I've been looking through some of the videos of the History Channel, and i have to say i am dissapointed i can't get it on my TV. Because there really is some interesting stuff on the channel. You remember the Ancient Aliens episode about the Mayans i showed in my previous post?

Well today i will share one about, without a doubt, the most brilliant man in history;
Leonardo Da Vinci.

And i'm not focussing on the "hidden messages" in the artwork, although we know he was a master at that.
But all the important discoveries he made, and inventions he did. It's just amazing how far ahead he was compared to the time he lived in. The message in this video is that he was either;
A. Abducted by aliens
B. A time traveler

But maybe this is just a trick question, what about;
C. He was just an amazing genius the likes of wich we won't see for another 1500 years.

The answers A&B are supported only by a lot of circumstantial evidence, wich is the case in almost all of the Ancient Astronaut theories. And hey, why else would this guy be on the show?

 But still, knowledge is power, and knowledge can only be gained through asking questions.
And luckily i did my own research, and according to the most reliable source i know, the TV-Show Futurama, all of his inventions were part of a space ship.

Thank you comedy, for solving yet another mistery of history!

Nazca's secrets

Nazca, Peru

This is the site of an archeological wonder, the Nazca lines.

I could go into a very detailed description, but you'd probably rather want to watch this vdieo:

The question still remains, why did these people put enormous amounts of work in something they were never fully able to see?
One explenaition is they were made to honor the gods, but maybe these gods were closer to these people then we think. For archeologists also found very strange skulls near the lines, and when i say strange, i mean really weird. Scientists have finally managed to do a reconstruction of how these people would have looked like, as is seen in this video:

But we do know the old american cultures are far more advanced and complex then you would think of societies that old. There are a lot of things we still don't understand, and maybe we will never understand it fully. But an interesting theory is that the mayans were visited by outsiders.

I am not saying the mayans were, or were not, visited by aliens, but this stuff is really interesting.

So, you want some music?

For those of you who are into music, and i'm quite sure that there are a lot.
Check out my new blog @ tumot.blogspot.com.

I will try to frequently post all sorts of music i like listening to.
Maybe i will help you remember that golden oldie, or open doors to new genres.
Who knows?

To reclaim my sovereignty - Step 1

Hello people of the internet, i have decided it is time for me to reclaim my sovereignty.
I am a human being, made of flesh and blood, and believe everybody deservers the right to be free.

Living in a western country and complaining you are not free might sound a bit strange, especially compared to e.g. the middle-east. But full freedom can only be achieved when you are no longer dictated to in any way possible. And from personal experience i can tell that the government doesn't treat you with the compasion and care you might expect to get as a fellow human being. Instead we are all numbers, digits in a large database. Whenever the government needs you, they just call upon the juridical entity, your number. You as a human being are connected to the juridical entity, you've been so since the day you were born.

 All the laws around the world, except for religious like Sharia etc., can be divided into two categories; law of tha land, and the maritime law. This is going to sound strange, but it's the actual logic that is being used; when you are born, you are born under maritime law. Wait, what? Yeah, no matter if you are born on top of mt. Everest, you are born through the birthcanal, wich is a "waterway".

As soon as your feet hit the ground, you are no longer affected by maritime law, but rather by the law of the land. The fact that you officially were born under maritime law, requires your parents to get an "import contract" from the government. This is better known as a birth certifficate, this is the contract between you and the government.

Ok, that was a little summary on how the system works, now on with the first step i'll be taking.

Step 1.
This step consists of getting a copy of my birthcertifficate, wich ofcourse isn't that hard.
Then i will go to town hall, give them my birthcertifficate and a copy of my ID-card, together with a letter that states i would like to have a secrecy code 7 on my full name in the administration.

Ok, now what does it do? If they give my section in the administration the code 7, default is 0, this will mean that no one, under any circumstances can look up my name in the administrations without getting permission from me first. This excludes justice departments like police etc.

Allright, that will be the first step, it will give me some more privacy when completed.
I will update further when i've completed this step, then we are getting a bit more serious.

Good day to you all.

-DISCLAIMER-
The steps and actions described are specific to my country, do some research on the internet and discover how you can win back you freedom!

Iran

Hello people,

First of all; sorry i have not posted anything for over a month now. I had a quite a busy period with some changes and events in my private life, wich actually made me forget my intentions to write a (weekly?) blog for the few who are interested. I will try to keep updating my blog regularly, but forgive me if i don't succeed.

I would like to thank all of you for the nice comments you left, and for the people who started following me. Sadly i have to inform you all that the Duifmeneer hype didn't go on for long, but hey; what viral lives forever? But today i will be trying to write about a subject of a little more importance: the current situation on Iran.

I am sure i don't have to tell you what's happening with Iran right now. The USA and Israel are both concerned about the nuclear ambitions Iran has, and are afraid that Iran might produce nuclear weaponry on the short term. President Obama already stated that he will approve any action, this includes military, to prevent Iran from getting those weapons. The US Navy already a small part of its fleet positioned in the Persian gulf.

All around the world the media is demonising the Irani government, i have to admit the Irani government isn't a nice one. But as always, there are two sides to a story. The other side of the story is focused mainly on how the media deals with Iran, as i stated above; Iran is being demonized. The whole world is being told that Iran is posing a serious threat to the "western" world, and military action might be necessary to ensure our freedom.

Wait a minute, haven't we heard that story before? Weren't they doing the same exact thing with Iraq? The USA government told the world Saddam Hussain had WMD's and went in there to overthrow the government and, if you look at it with a neutral view, to occupy the country. And we all know that ended with the death of nearly a million Iraqi. It's true that the american mobile forces left Irak in december last year, but not before they had built 4 permanent bases, with possible missle platforms.

Even this week we recieved more news that tells us that Iran is evil and a threat to Israel in particular. In New Delhi, India and Tblisi, Georgia two car bombs were placed under the cars of the Israeli ambassadors. The ambassodor in Georgia discovered the bomb and thus escaped. The wife of the ambassador in New Delhi wasn't so lucky, she was in the car when a motorcycle drove by and threw a bomb under her car. She did survive the attack, and as far as i know is still in the hospital. And the following day, a bomb exploded in Bangkok, wounding 5 people, including the bomber.

Cars being blown up by people on motorcycles placing bombs underneath it, where have we seen this before? Except for a lot of James Bond movies i mean. Well, at least two Irani scientists who where working on the Irani nuclear program got assasinated in exact the same way. These were some of the top ranking nuclear fysicists Iran had, therefore the assasinations dealt a serious blow to there nuclear ambitions.

I don't think there is an easy or subtle way to say this, so i will be straightforward. It is obvious that the assasinations of the Irani scientists was done by the Israeli secret service; Mossad. But it's my believe that the bombings in Georgie, New Delhi and Bangkok were also done by the Mossad. I can almost hear you thinking; "but hey, the bomber that got his legs blown of in Bangkok was an Iranian!". This ofcourse, is true. But weren't all the spies the USA had stationed in USSR during the cold war Russian? Weren't most of the spies Nazi-Germany had in the USA nazistic Americans? My point is; a passport doesn't prove someones loyalty, only where he was born. Besides, it would ofcourse have been better, from Mossad's point of view, to let Irani's do the bombings in case, or maybe it was the plan, they got caught. It isn't a coincidence that the Mossad has : "by way of deception, thou shall do war" as it's official credo.

Ok, by now i am sure a lot of you are thinking; "this guy is just another one of those conspiracy nuts". And frankly, maybe i am, but that still doesn't withhold me from trying to bring you some facts, and ofcourse share my opinion on them. This is a blog after all, innit?

But back to business, i know it sounds strange; killing your own citizens and blaming it on an other country. But this technique is what is called a "false flag operation". And it has been done many times, on both large and small scale. I could go and try to convince you that 9/11 was an inside job, wich is a touchy subject with some people. And although i'm not stating it is, if you see the polls that almost half of the American people believe that their government was involved with the attacks, it makes you think. Why does the government refuse to give any information, if they have nothing to hide. But appart from that, we could name other incidents like the burning of the Reichstag or the "semi" false flag attacks like Pearl Harbor and the Lustitania. Both were obviously not done by USA's own forces, but in both cases it was known to the US government and military in advance that these attack were going to take place, and they did nothing to prevent it.

I could be rambling on about still debatable issues like stated above, but let's focus on something that has been admitted by the US government. This attack hasn't been carried out, but it shows us that the US government is capabla of, and willing to stage false flag attacks as an excuse to engage in open warfare. I'm talking about Operation Northwoods, this plan was developed in 1962 and involved placing bombs in major american city's and perform hijacks and blame it all on the Cubans. The full operation document literaly states; "The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the Western Hemisphere."  I think we can all be very thankfull of president John F. Kennedy for rejecting this operation, and thus not engage in open warfare with the Cubans.

Suddenly the idea of bombings being staged doesn't sound that unreal does it? But, why is this false flag issue so important all of the sudden, apart from the relatively "harmless" bombings in India and Thailand. Well, we have arrived at the actual reason i started this blog, wich is becoming at least twice as long as i intended. The US Navy is moving its oldest aircraft carrier to the Persion gulf. This is the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), it is the second oldest boat of the marine still in operation. And is scheduled to "retire" in 2013/2014. It was the first piece in the fleet to be equiped with nuclear engines, wich makes it extremely expensive to deconstruct it after it is taken out of service. And why would the US Navy send their oldest of aircraft carriers into "battle"? There is no logical explenation for it, even the Irani technology is 20 years ahead of what this vessel has to offer. The US Navy has loads of vessels way better equipped for the task at hand. So why send this old-timer in?

The Irani government is certainly not stupid enough to attack the US or Israel, they know they will be wiped of the map in mere weeks. So what will the USA/Israel do? I think you've felt it coming, stage a false flag attack on the USS Enterprise and blame it on the Irani government. The media will be all over it for days and Iran will once again be portraied as "the extremist islam evil that hates freedom" enfuriating the world and both the US and Israel move in to attack Iran. The USS Enterprise will be arriving in the Persian gulf sometime in March, and whether the above happens or not, i do believe that the US and Israel are going to engage Iran within  6 months. Shit is going to hit the fan big-time soon.

I don't really care whether you believe everything i just stated, but i had to write my thoughts down. And maybe some of you enjoyed reading it or do believe the above, in case of the latter; try informing other people, it's the only way we can try and prevent these kind of things from happening.

A legend is born

Last weekend, a new internet sensation was born. A young (15 year old) boy from The Hague in the Netherlands even made it to a worldwide trending topic on Twitter, now that's an achievement!

But what makes Lloyd Schuilenburg such a special kid? Can he do sublime imitations of celebrities, make really funny faces? Does he have that important cuteness-factor we find in viral video's more and more often. No, this young lad has talents and capacities that transcend those of other internet superheroes. I am ofcourse talking about #Duifmeneer, or Doveguy.

Why does this hero among men have a rather cheesy nickname? Because he loves pigeons! He loves pigeons more than anything in the world, his whole life is devoted to became the ultimate pigeon-master. To catch them is the real test, to train them is his cause! And this isn't just a comparison between two of the most awesome things out there, it is the actual story of Lloyd's life!

Because, as a matter of fact, Lloyd is one of the few remaining participants in a Hague tradition that has been going on for centuries now. De Haagse Duivensport , The Hague Dovesport (Hard one to translate, innit?) is a tradition that started in the lower class area's in 17th century the Hague. The objective of participants is quite simple; they have to try and catch eachothers pigeons.

They try to accomplish this by training their own (female) pigeons to lure the other person's (male) pigeon into a cage they have set up. This sounds quite simple, but pigeons aren't the brightest animals on this spinning rock, so a lot of patience and devotion is required to become a pigeon-master (haha, i did it again). There is quite a special technique that is used by participants to comfort doves, and lure them into the cages.

I'm talking ofcourse about hoe-hoe-hoe'ing, And frankly, there isn't a way to explain it, so enjoy!

I'm quite sorry for the lack of subtitles, but i think the image speaks for itself.

But why did this awesome guy become a hero? Because it was posted of Dumpert.nl, and the problem with Dumpert is that it's populated by people with quite low standards, that together can bomb everything to become a meme. This is often done by really bad editing and photoshopping, some examples;

http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/1925301/74fb7821/who_let_the_dogs_out_.html
http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/1928691/4bc91ff2/dumpert_muziek.html

http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/1931311/ec5b91b3/mars_attacks_duifmeneer.html

The attention for this lad exploded begin this week, thus making the guy a famous celebrity. Everyone with an internet connection knows, or at least has heard of the infamouns Duifmeneer. His picture now hangs on the internet hall of fame;
http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/people/duif-meneer
together with the other Dutch all-time hero, Haatmeneer;
http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/haatmeneerdit-is-niet-mijn-winkel-vriend

People posting video's of their imitations have already been spotted, where will this end?
I know i'm not bored by Lloyd yet, and the declining quality, if there ever was any, of the edits & shoops is starting to amuse me. I know i have made all your life's better by sharing with you the knowledge, and therefore the power. I'm grabbing some more beer & chips, and start looking for more Duifmeneer,

Spoon

Update 14/01/2012:

Duifmeneer has announced that he will be recording his very own song today. This internet phenomeon sparked the interest of the producers that made the theme song for the platinum selling movie: New Kids Nitro. This will surely make an interesting piece of art, knowing that the theme song of the movie was called, translated; Bang whores and never work again, wich is the actual chorus of the song that made it to the 16th place in the dutch charts.
